Blockcast

turn pixel art into a solid you can hold

Front sprite

Drop an image, or click to choose

PNG works best for hard edges · auto-scaled to fit 256×256

Side sprite (optional)

Drop a second image for a cross-section

Builds a second plane from this image, rotated 90° to cross the front sprite

Pixel thickness

multiple of one pixel · shared by both sprites

1 = one pixel deep, 0.5 = half a pixel, 2 = two pixels — type any value, the slider is just a shortcut.

Transparent pixels

Leave holes where the image is transparent

Material

Unlit (no shading)

Bakes the glTF KHR_materials_unlit flag into the file, so Godot (and other engines that support it) import the mesh already set to Unshaded — no manual toggle needed. Doesn't affect the .stl export, which never carries material data.

Simplify geometry

Reduce edges, lose some detail

Rounds off small spikes and gaps on the outer silhouette. Every color that survives keeps its exact original hue — internal color boundaries are never touched.

Export

STL is geometry only, no color. GLB and GLTF export one mesh with one material, colored by a small baked palette texture — switch that single material to unlit and the whole model follows.
